Many A Places

This poem is actually written on the tune of the song Carry That Weight by the Beatles. It was first featured in their album Abbey Road(’69).

Here’s the song on youtube.

Boy,
Life takes you many places,
Many a places, aren’t the same.

There’s a bee in my closet,
Looking out for a sweet flower,
But it only finds suits and ties,
And breaks down.

Boy,
Life takes you many places,
Many a places aren’t the same.

There’s a lion in the circus,
Sitting on a chair with its tail wagging,
Looking at the ringmaster,
It growls loud.

Boy,
Life takes you many places,
None of those places, are the same.
