Undi-Man

This poem is a follow-up of the original “Chaddi-Man” I had written in Hindi. It is not an exact translation of the poem, but is very much similar to it.
This poem is only about Laughter and Fun, NO DISRESPECT TO ANY OF THE SUPERHEROES IS INTENDED.

In the darkness all around,
As the owls hoot,
When the evil walk the ground,
Tramping with their boot.

On such fiery dark nights,
A legend will be born,
He’ll come wearing undies and tights,
Pricking out the thorn.

Undi, undi, undi, undi, undi-man.
Undi, undi, undi, undi, undi-man.

A mask on his face,
And a flying cape,
He’ll wear the undies with grace,
Saying, I’ll save you babe.

He’ll jump over the rooftops,
Chasing masked men,
He’ll always help the cops,
In clearing their stench.

The apple of the eyes,
He’ll become of the poor man,
He’ll give them hugs and goodbyes,
A bird, a plane, Undi-man.

Undi, undi, undi, undi, undi-man.
Undi, undi, undi, undi, undi-man.
